Bypasses Congress Again!  Appoints New Czar … Sort Of!

Last week President Obama announced a new addition to his Obama Regime.  “He who needs no Senate, no Congress,” announced he had appointed Elizabeth Warren as the new “Consumer Czar” … sort of. 

In his continued war on business in the US Obama skipped right over the US Senate… again… and named Warren as the person who would SHAPE the new Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection.

Warren, a Harvard law professor, is said to be an expert on bankruptcy.  Business and banks are bristling at this latest move by the Obama Regime to make doing business in America even more difficult.  They say Warren will create an agency more aggressive than it ought to be while the GOP says she is already far too critical of business and Wall Street.

Obama preened before the cameras and declared: “Never again will folks be confused or misled by pages of barely understandable fine print that you find in agreements for credit cards or mortgages or student loans …” Obama continued: “Elizabeth understands what I strongly believe: that a strong, growing economy begins with a strong and thriving middle class, and that means every American has to get a fair shake in their financial dealings.”

Ok.  Let’s clear some of the smoke away and see what we have here.

The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection will write and enforce new rules with authority over the largest banks in America right down to the smallest storefront payday lender.  Lending institutions will be hit, among other things, with new government rules on the types of mortgages they can handle.  In other words more government intrusion into the way business is done in America.  Oh, the BCFP is SUPPOSED to protect consumers from those dreaded hidden fees and abusive terms.

Everyone knows Obama intends to appoint Warren as director of the new government agency.  By going this route and bypassing the Senate confirmation hearings Obama is avoiding what he knows would have been some very tough questioning by the Senators, which just might expose just how little his appointee actually knows about business beyond the courtroom, the theory of textbooks, and campus debate. This is not surprising in the least as the Obama Regime is littered with egghead, elite, intellectuals who can theorize all day long on how business and America works, but have no actual experience beyond the confines of a college campus. 

So far, the advice of Obama’s Czars has been disastrous for America.  As evidence, one has only to consider the condition America’s business community and the entire American financial system finds itself in today.

We suggest the GOP Congress should consider closing and shuttering the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection immediately upon being sworn in.  (If the Bureau is even up and running at that point. Treasury Secretary Geithner has set July 21, 2011, as the deadline for the BCFP to be ready for operations. That should give the Congress ample time to cut-off any funding for the BCFP and effectively shut it down.)

It is interesting to note that for the past two years Warren has been running the Congressional Oversight Panel, which is charged with monitoring the Treasury Department’s handling of the $700 billion bank rescue fund known as the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). We ALL know HOW SUCCESSFUL THAT HAS BEEN … RIGHT? As of last Friday she no longer holds that position.

Back in the 1920’s President Calvin Coolidge said: “The business of America … is business.”

Unfortunately that has changed to THE BUSINESS of AMERICA IS BIGGER AND BIGGER GOVERNMENT! 

Under the auspices of the Obama Regime the American government just grows and grows and grows.  It now intrudes into every aspect of every single American’s life and is smothering business, literally, to death. 

Each year more and more businesses are closing and shuttering their plants and moving them to other countries where the government welcomes them and the jobs they took along with them when they left America.  More and more businesses today are reluctant to consider establishing their business or a branch of their business in America because the US government is hostile to business.

So long as the Obama Regime is in power, business is under a threat.  They know it and so they are “marching in place” waiting and hoping for a change in the attitude the US government has toward business.  Until such time as they get some regulatory relief, they are not going to expand, nor hire new employees.  Americans can expect the economy to remain essentially flat and the jobless rate to remain high, at least until there are some expansive changes in the Congress and the White House.

Fortunately Americans have a chance to begin those expansive changes this November — at the polls.

One of the things at which the liberal-socialists are really bad is “re-educating the public.”

 

See, they actually believe that you and I are knuckle-dragging, saliva dripping idiots.  They actually believe that something, (Not GOD!) put them on this earth to save our sorry behinds from ourselves. No, I’m not kidding.  I am convinced they B E L I E V E!

 

Come on, folks, how else can one explain the completely stupid things they come up with.  I mean, only a person so stuck on themselves they can’t see past the end of their nose would ever, in this world or the next, continue to try to sell a hoax to a public that already sees through the scheme and understands the reason behind their liberal-socialist con game is their determination to implement GLOBAL GOVERNANCE or, as we used to refer to it, a One-World Government.

 

They thought that had us peons sold on Global Warming.  Actually, they never did.  Only the suck-ups to the liberal-socialists and their agenda ever supported the global warming hoax in public.  Well, big business did, as well, but that was to cover their rear ends with the government and not because they actually believed it. 

 

The Greenies were dumb-founded when they learned that we knuckle-draggers had just enough light left in our bulb to use the internet to determine that the polar bear population was on the increase and was no where near declining — not to mention our discovery that that cute, fuzzy, stuffed-toy look disguises a GRIZZLY BEAR IN A WHITE COAT!!! Hey, those polar bears are MEAN SUCKERS! To them, you and I are LUNCH!

 

And so, the socialist greenies realized long after everyone else out here in the boonies did, that the term  “global warming” was a laugh line – a joke — a bad joke, at that!  So, in their infinite wisdom, they decided it was time for a NEW term.  They came up with an all-encompassing term: “Climate Change.” 

 

Again, we dummies out here in the hinterlands were, as usual, one or two steps ahead of them.  We understood that the new term ‘Climate Change,” a less that “bright” move on their part, was intended to ENLARGE the “threat” to simply overwhelm us and we’d finally shut up and slink away with our collective tails between our legs. 

 

Didn’t happen that way. Nope.  It simply did not happen, as the elite leftist intellectuals just KNEW it would.

 

So, for the past few years they have been searching in the “round about” for another term to apply to the worldwide hoax originally known as “Global Warming.”  Last week they rolled out the shiny new piece of propaganda.  Now the term is: (Are you ready for this?) “Global Climate Disruption.” (SOURCE) Yep!  That’s it!  Just sorta rolls of the tongue — doesn’t it?  … OR NOT!

 

Now they have gone from bad to worse to just plain pathetic.

 

The thing that puzzles me is the apparent oblivion in which those people live. They apparently have no idea that we “poor souls” outside their academic enclaves and liberal-socialist compounds can see through them as thought they were one-way mirrors.  We see them – but they don’t see us.  They cannot comprehend that we, long ago, developed the skill to predict what they and their leftist brain trusts were going to do long, long, before that actually tried it.

 

They take themselves so seriously they cannot grasp reality.  The reality of the green movement is – it is a belly grabbing, roll on the floor, laugh out loud, tear-inducing J O K E!  They should be red-faced with shame, but they are not — simply because they are so busy trying to impress each other with their “smarts” they are oblivious to the public’s disdain for their asinine edicts concerning the destruction of the earth by a gas we humans breathe out every single time we take a breath!

 

They are propagandist of the most incompetent kind.  There was a time when we referred to them as fear mongers.  But that was back before political correctness became the norm. 

 

Even though we laugh at their silly antics it is imperative to understand that they have a single goal in mind.  That goal is to finally establish a single worldwide socialist, Marxist, communist government.

 

The Obama Regime is jam packed with these people. Many of them are educated beyond their ability and unable to exist outside of the government or off a university campus.  They are, in fact, quite pitiful and quite worthy of our pity. They seem totally unaware that their world is about to be shattered when the roof falls in on them under the weight of the American people’s anger. 

 

We are tired of being played for fools and we are about to make our anger known at the polls in November.

This week Obama made darn sure Hispanics know he is going to bring back the Amnesty for Illegal Aliens bill. Sure, it will have a slick sounding name like “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” but it will include amnesty for those 12+ million illegal aliens or “undocumented democrats” as some are now referring to them.

Referring to the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill, while speaking to a group of Hispanics (the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute) just this week, Obama is reported to have said: “But let me be clear: I will not walk away from this fight. My commitment is getting this done as soon as we can. We can’t keep kicking this challenge down the road.”

Of course, Obama blamed the republicans for the delay in amnesty for illegal aliens. In our opinion, the GOP should be proud of that accusation and take credit for it. In the case of amnesty for illegal aliens, the GOP ought not just be the “party of NO, but the party of HELL NO!

Mr. Obama reportedly told the Hispanics gathered at the meeting: “But don’t forget who is standing with you, and who is standing against you. Don’t ever believe that this election coming up doesn’t matter. … Don’t forget who your friends are.” You may read the entire story (HERE).

We can assure the President WE LEGAL American citizens will not forget which political party is attempting to shove amnesty for illegal aliens down OUR throats!

Time to get the e-mail humming to your Senators again. Phone calls work well, too. Faxes are also important. Even a telegram to your senator’s office would be helpful

I have asked this before and I will ask it again: Isn’t there something very sad (and very telling) when the people of a country have to “force” their own government to respond to the wishes of their people? Isn’t it telling as to how far we have traveled down the road toward “totalitarian government”? Have we learned anything??? That question will be answered in November.

“Once more, into the breach,” conservatives!!!

Basically, Americans STILL want the border closed and sealed FIRST! It is common sense to stop the leak in the breached dam we call the border. Once the border is closed and sealed then taking care of those aliens here illegally can begin and, I hope, mass deportations can begin.

The really sad aspect of this whole calamity with the flood of illegal aliens is that none of this would be necessary – if — the federal government would just enforce the immigration laws already on the books. But they are not going to do that and they will make every effort they feel they must to stop any sovereign state from protecting itself, and its fellow Americans, by enforcing the law.

We are all aware of how the federal government has brought the hammer down on the people of the sovereign state of Arizona for just making an attempt to enforce US law. All of America learned exactly how Obama and his fellow socialist-liberals feel about state sovereignty and how quick they are to use the mailed fist of a dictatorial government to smash any resistance to their socialist agenda.

Yes, Americans ARE angry with the illegal alien mess and the numerous attempts by our government to offer them amnesty, which would, in time, offer them citizenship. It is the wrong answer to a question that never should have come up. It wouldn’t have – had the federal government been doing its job.

As I wrote in an article some years back: “Those of you who support open borders do not, I repeat, do not try to beat us about the head and shoulders with the old saw that says America is a nation of immigrants. See, we already know that because our ancestors were immigrants, too. Mine came into the country, legally, in 1789 through what was then Charles Town Harbor and were assigned a place in the 96th precinct of the state of South Carolina. Notice – they came into this country LEGALLY! That is all we expect of any who want to immigrate to America. Do it legally and we will welcome you with open arms. Do it illegally and we want you caught and deported forthwith!”

Americans have to ask themselves an important question — and that is … what do we do with a government that refuses to uphold/enforce the nation’s laws? Allow me to answer that by asking this: Suppose you had a business and an employee consistently refused to follow the rules of your workplace. What would you do to that employee? See? The answer is simple. The ONLY way we are ever going to get relief from this problem is to clean the house in Washington.

I refer often to my very intelligent and insightful friend, Alan Caruba. Some time back, in an article entitled “A Crisis of Governors” Alan said the following: “What, in fact, Americans are witnessing is a failure of government at both the state and federal level. The nation has managed to elect too many people to public office that are so clearly inept, incompetent, and untrustworthy, it poses a threat to the republic.”

There is no arguing with the rock solid logic of that statement. Alan, as usual, is spot on. I have said this before and I will say it again, loud and clear: America’s most dangerous enemy, at the moment, is its own government! Sad to say — it was through the ignorance of the American electorate that these pitifully inept politicians were elected to office to begin with.

America is a big country. When we act, we act big. When we make mistakes – oh, we really screw-up – and in a BIG way. As most Americans now know, electing a Democratic Party controlled Congress in 2006 was a BIG mistake and electing Obama in 2008 was an even BIGGER mistake. Now America is paying the awful price for allowing emotions to drive the election of the first black President of the United States.

We’d like to think that maybe a third party working hard over decades could turn it around, but frankly, I have come to believe that is a long way down the road. I sometimes think Americans are so woefully ignorant of how a representative republic is supposed to work that I have serious doubts we are capable of doing that which is necessary to save our country.

The Tea Party Movement shows promise in the fight to educate Americans about how their government is supposed to work. To say the candidates they have backed over the primary season have been surprisingly victorious would be an understatement. I feel compelled to tell you that I suspect that if their strength continues to grow they will, of necessity, become the political party in America that shoves an evermore moderate GOP off center stage and into the wings and eventually into the pages of history as another “has been” political party that could not find the will to represent their constituents the way those constituents demanded. They got away with it for a while. But those days have now ended.

Until we can come up with a solution to the problem of an unresponsive government we are stuck standing on the sidelines observing the huge land invasion from our neighbor to the south with the assistance of the Obama Regime and its fellow socialist-liberals in the Congress of the United States.

I continue to read, hear, and see reports by the Mainstream Media that Christine O’Donnell’s win Tuesday, in Delaware, insures the Democrats will maintain control of the Senate.  Well, I’m not so sure — and I think the liberal-socialists in the media, in the Republican Party, and in the Democratic Party are fooling themselves if they choose to believe the race in Delaware will determine control of the US Senate.

 Mark Tapscott has an article titled “Two initial lessons to be gleaned from O’Donnell victory” at The Washington Examiner in which he, too, explains his reservations about control of the senate being insured by the O’Donnell Victory. 

In his article, Mr. Tapscott says the following:

“There are at least two lessons here.

First, the anger among Republican voters is not limited to the far right reaches of its “base.” Castle was one of the most popular political figures in the state, yet his support in Congress for TARP bailouts, the radical House version of Cap-and-Trade, and the DISCLOSE Act marked him back home among his fellow Republicans as more a representative of the Washington Establishment to Delaware than Delaware’s representative to Washington.

Lesson: The days of “moderate” Republicans in Congress being able to talk the talk of reform in Washington without actually walking it are rapidly coming to an end everywhere except perhaps in the deepest, darkest reaches of the Northeast. 

Second, right or wrong, there is no more divisive figure on the Right, for the moment, than O’Donnell. On the issues, she portrays herself as a solid conservative and of course touted her endorsement by Sarah Palin. The problem with O’Donnell is thus not with her ideological orientation, it is strictly because there are serious questions about her financial record and ethical code.”

Tapscott goes on to say:  “Still, I question the conventional wisdom that Delaware is now a lock for the Democrats. Despite Scott Brown, Rand Paul, Sharon Angle, and Joe Miller, the talking heads in Washington and New York obviously still cannot comprehend the depth or intensity of anger among voters or the fact that anger is far from limited to conservatives. (The emphasis here is my own.)

We think Mr. Tapscott’s comments are very insightful and right on the money. You may read the entire article by Mark Tapscott (HERE).

The depth and intensity of the voter’s anger is just ignored by the political elite in both parties. The Mainstream Media just sniffs and looks the other way.

Plus, they both fail to understand that the Tea Party Movement is NOT A REPUBLICAN Movement.  It is a CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT, which embraces voters from the Democratic Party, The Republican Party, The Libertarian Party, and a host of Independents and others!

To sum up:  They haven’t a clue! 

The Tea Party is not about so much of what the Elite Media and politicians and all the political science egghead’s claim it is.  Plain and simple, the Tea Party Movement is about stopping Obama’s “Fundamental Transformation” of America.  It is about taking America back from the Socialists, the Marxists, the Progressives, the Socialist-Liberals, and returning it to the status of a constitutional republic as the Founders intended.

That is the purpose and the goal of the Tea Party Movement in America.

Along the way we intend to insure that our radical-socialist president is shown the door in 2012. 

I just don’t buy it.  And I don’t think America’s intensely outraged voters will either. Frankly, it smacks of a pre-planned effort by the democrats/mainstream media to demoralize conservative voters before the showdown in November. But it is doomed to failure. 

The only thing concerning me about the outcome in November is the democrat’s “October Surprise,” which I am reasonably sure will be forthcoming next month.  I have no idea what it will be — but since the democrats are big on fear expect it to something designed to strike fear in the hearts of all who even dare to consider voting against them.  Come to think of it, fear is about al the democrats have left, now. Isn’t it?

One thing I’ like to address before I close this rant:  For those of you insistent on supporting the Democratic Party — just as your parents and grandparents did — and as you have done so faithfully over your lifetime, please understand — this Democratic Party is NOT, I repeat, IS NOT, the Democratic Party of your forefathers and not even the Democratic Party of your earlier years.  The Democratic Party today is a polyglot of Socialists, Marxists, Progressives, Communist, and what we have come to know as “socialist-liberals.”   It has shown itself to be the enemy of freedom, of liberty, indeed, of the Constitution, and it (the Democratic Party), we believe, is determined to transform America into a socialist dictatorship. They have already begun the process.

They must be stopped — else America, the bastion of freedom and liberty, will be no more. It is as simple and as frightening as that.

Today’s Democratic Party is determined to collapse the American government and drive Americans into the embrace of a socialist dictatorship, which they have already designed and have waiting in the wings.

America needs all her children to, once again, man the barricades and stop the encroachment on our freedom and destroy the evil attempt to destroy our constitutional republic.

Michael Barone has a piece at the Washington Examiner which is a “must Read” for those of you who felt I was overly critical of the Obama Regime in my article entitled: “ Groomed for a Socialist Dictatorship” (HERE).  If you will read Mr. Barone’s piece, I expect you will see more evidence that what I was trying to say was, in fact, not strong enough. 

 

Barone’s article is entitled: “Gangster government stifles criticism of Obamacare” and you will find it (HERE).

 

In his article, Barone says: “The threat to use government regulation to destroy or harm someone’s business because they disagree with government officials is thuggery. Like the Obama administration’s transfer of money from Chrysler bondholders to its political allies in the United Auto Workers, it is a form of gangster government.”

 

Barone quotes from a letter by Secretary Kathleen Sebelius of the Department of Health and Human Services to Karen Ignagni, president of America’s Health Insurance Plans — the chief lobbyist for private health insurance companies.

 

In the letter, Sebelius says the following:  “”There will be zero tolerance for this type of misinformation and unjustified rate increases.”  Secretary Sebelius, you see, is unhappy with insurance companies that have found it already necessary to raise their rates as a result of the added expense (costs) to them as a direct result of ObamaCare.

 

Sebelius also issues a threat.  In the letter she states: “We will also keep track of insurers with a record of unjustified rate increases: Those plans may be excluded from health insurance Exchanges in 2014.”

 

That threat lends even more credence to our claims that Obama Care intends to destroy the private healthcare insurance companies in America and eventually install a single-payer type healthcare system, which will be government run and government controlled.

 

Sebelius’ threat, simply put, is to put those insurance companies out of business if they dare disclose to the public that their rate increases are a direct result of the added costs to them of ObamaCare.

 

The Obama regime is flat out telling the Insurance companies to shut up and do as they are told or they (The Obama Regime) will sic their thugs on them (the insurance companies.)

 

All of this comes at a time when the American people are genuinely ticked-off at the Obama Regime and the liberal-socialist controlled Congress. 

 

A recent Gallup poll shows just how “put out” the American people are with a government they feel, and rightly so, is out of control.  Americans know in their guts that an out of control Congress in a constitutional republic is the worst sort of threat to their freedom.

 

In their poll, Gallup asked about the national health care bill, the stimulus, the bailout of auto companies, the bailout of major banks and financial institutions, and the financial regulatory reform bill.  Liberal-socialists believe these things to be the major accomplishments of the current administration and Congress. The American people, however, see them as launching pads for a socialist government in America. 

 

Gallup found “… majority opposition to all those measures, with the exception of financial reform. The numbers: Bank bailouts, 61 percent disapprove versus 37 percent approve; national health care, 56 percent disapprove versus 39 percent approve; auto bailouts, 56 percent disapprove versus 43 percent approve; stimulus, 52 percent disapprove versus 43 percent approve.”

 

Gallup found that “only financial reform, with 61 percent approve versus 37 percent disapprove, is a winner for the representatives and senators.” (In the spirit of complete disclosure, I must tell you — this scribe is flat-out against the Obama Financial Reform bill.)  You may read the entire article, by Byron York, at the Washington Examiner, (HERE).

 

This may come as a surprise to our neighbors on this planet we call earth, but we Americans do no like this President.  We do not like what he, with the help of his cohorts in Congress (which is now dominated by liberal-socialists), have done to a formerly free America and we are determined to change it back to a free constitutional republic beginning in November. 

 

The American electorate is “leaning forward” in anticipation of going to the polls in November determined to purge as many liberal-socialists and progressives (of both parties) as we possibly can.

 

Contrary to what the world has been told by the Obama Regime, America is not “just another country” we are, indeed, different.  Never allow yourself to believe that Americans will go to war to insure another country’s freedom but we will not go to war to insure our own. The American “War Between the States” should disabuse you of any such misconception.  Armed conflict between Americans is always a last resort, but believe me when I tell you — IT IS NEVER OFF THE TABLE.  It is woven into the fabric of who we are as a people. Indeed, America was formed in the crucible of war.  It has been through war that we have preserved our freedom from the dangers presented by our enemies — both foreign AND domestic.

 

At this moment in American history anger — at a government out of control — is roiling in America. There is no animal on earth more dangerous than a PO’ed American. That is not to be taken as a boast, it is a simply statement of fact.  Conservative Americans are the most dangerous simply because they are more willing to fight, both rhetorically and physically, to preserve the freedom granted them by the constitution.  Their passion for living free is the very thing that forged their conservatism and fuels their readiness to fight to preserve it.

 

The American tolerance for government thuggery is OVER, used-up, kaput! I, like millions of Americans across this great country we call America, can’t wait to get to the polls, in November, to clean house in Washington.

Groomed for a Socialist Dictatorship

America’s very own government is systematically destroying the United States of America.  If this comes as a revelation to you – then where have you BEEN?

America’s destruction has been ongoing for some time now.  But not until the election of the democrat controlled Congress in 2006 and the election of President Obama in 2008 did it swing into high gear and the real dismantling of our constitutional republic begin in earnest.

Today, America is just a shell of its former self.  We have seen how quickly a determined enemy of the constitution can bring havoc to bear on our nation as we look back over the months since November 2006.

Like a cancer devouring its host from within the socialism of the Democratic Party and the Obama Regime have, little by little, brought America to her knees.  There can be no doubt that America is dying and dying quickly.

Fortunately, there are some Americans who have taken notice of this silent attack on America.  To their credit they are desperately trying to alert all Americans to the imminent death of our constitutional republic.  These American patriots do not plan to stand by and watch America destroyed from within.   They have banded together to make a last ditch effort to stanch the out flowing of the energy force from America’s socialist damaged veins. They are known by many names.  The Tea Party is the best-known moniker.

There is method to the apparent madness of the liberal-socialists in the American government today.  Many contend they are intentionally making an all out effort to collapse America’s system of government along with her financial and economic systems and then reform them under a strong centralized socialist government which will have the American citizen completely at the mercy of the socialist/Marxist government.

There is a concerted effort today, in America, to destroy capitalism.  I have come to believe the destruction of capitalism is an integral part of the plan to collapse America’s economic system and replace it with socialism akin to the Soviet Union style economic system.  No matter that it failed in the USSR, the American liberal-socialists believe they can succeed because they believe themselves smarter than the Soviets.

It has become clearer and clearer as the months of the Obama regime have dragged by that the intended end result — if the liberal-socialists get their way — will be a communist America.

So sure are the liberal-socialists of victory they have already begun laying the foundation for their socialist dictatorship.  For evidence look to Obama’s “Czars.”  Look at the Environmental Protection Agency power grabs.  Look at the influence the “green movement” has on our government today.  Observe America’s elite in business, entertainment, and, yes, the Mainstream Media kow-towing to Obama’s every whim as they try to ingratiate themselves to the Obama Regime convinced, as they are, that we are on the threshold of a socialist dictatorship in America.

Generations of Americans, educated in our government school system, have grown up believing that government can solve any problem — and do it better that a free market. 

As we said above, the effort to destroy America as a constitutional republic began long ago.  For at least two generations our young scholars have been indoctrinated in liberal-socialism in our government schools. The masses were, even then, being prepared for this moment in American history.

For the past eighteen months to two years Americans have been shaking off their lethargy and coming fully awake and now — they are ready to fight back.  And fight they will. 

“D-Day” is November 2^nd, the Mid-Term Election. Americans intend to send a message, not only to the Obama Regime and to the entire US government, but to the European Socialist states, as well.  That message is:  Americans ARE DIFFERENT!  Americans WILL LIVE FREE.

In the Mid-Term Election we intend to purge as many liberal-socialists and progressives, as we possibly can, from the government of the United States.  And that is just step one.

For step two, we intend to do it all over again — in the election of November 2012 — when we intend to send Obama packing and cleanse the remaining liberal-socialists and progressives from our Congress.

Take it from one who grew up as a free American.  America is no longer free.  The only way we can regain the freedoms we have already lost and to stop our incredibly swift slide into the socialist sewer is to regain control of our government. It is an absolute must. This is a battle free Americans must win. The alternative is the hell of socialist slavery.

In their continued crusade to cover the Obama Regime’s rear-end, the mainstream media is proclaiming the Mid-Term Election (in November) to be all about the US economy.  They made their pronouncement, of course, after it became clear the democrats will LOSE BIG in November and could, in fact, lose control of BOTH houses of Congress.

Here’s the truth:  This election IS about the economy – IN PART.  But even more important, it is about the President’s attempt to “fundamentally transform” America from a constitutional republic to a socialist banana republic sewer.  This is the concern upon which all the other troubling worries about the state of our government are founded.

Yes, the Mid-Term election will be a referendum on our radical socialist President, Mr. Obama.  It will be about his bringing socialized medicine to America.  It will be about American’s belief that he has abused his executive office with excessive use of the executive orders, which by-passed Congress, which is the legislative branch of the government. 

The Mid-Term election (in November) will be about the question of whether or not Obama is legally qualified to even be President of the United States.  Those sincere concerns are STILL swirling about the country with Americans openly wondering why he doesn’t put them to rest by simply verifying, with his original birth certificate, that he really is a natural born American and not, as some suggest, a Kenyan.

And there is more.

The most important election in the history of the United States, the Mid-Term election in November, is about the Obama Regime surrendering to international terrorism in the War on Terror.  That includes his bowing to foreign leaders of other lands.  That act demeaned the American citizen as no other has ever done. It has not been forgotten or forgiven. 

It is also about his open denial of “American Exceptionalism.” American’s believe their country is a nation with a mission and that mission is to be the example, the “shining city on hill” that all the nations of the earth can look to for guidance, assistance, and succor.  America is NOT “just another country.”

November’s election is about Obama and the democrats raping and pillaging the US Treasury and spending our children, our grandchildren, and THEIR children, so far into debt that generations will pass before Americans will ever be anywhere near debt-free again.

The all-important Mid-Term election is about Americans taking back their government — and their country — from a socialist regime with strong Marxist tendencies. It is about taking America back to its basic fundamentals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  It is about rejecting the slavery of Socialism, Progressivism, Marxism, Communism, and left-wing Liberalism.

In a little over eight weeks, Americans will go to the polls in this extremely important election about the profound differences between the philosophy of the Democrats and the philosophy of the Republicans. No Democratic Presidential Administration and Democratic controlled Congress has ever made those differences so clear and concise as the Obama Regime and the current Democratic controlled Congress. The GOP is for freedom and the democrats are for slavery under a socialist government. That fact is now blindingly clear.

This election is, plainly and simply, about whether America remains free.  It is about the restoration of limited government, a responsive government, and a responsible government.

The Mid-Term election is about sending a crystal clear message to the US government that they govern ONLY with the “consent of the governed!”

Yes, the election is about the economy, but it is about so much more, so very much more. 

This November, Americans intend to notify their government, through the ballot box, of their determination as Americans to LIVE FREE … period!

Americans, for the most part, have tried to smother their growing unease with the Muslim community among us. But it will only take a spark to ignite this barely controlled passion. Unease has grown into anger.

Isn’t it just a tad ignorant NOT to expect this kind of fear/anger from a people whom Muslims have attacked many times, and, even now, vow to destroy? I must tell you. When someone tells me they intend to kill me and my family, I sit up and I take notice, and I do everything in my power to keep that from happening and… I sure as heck will not lend them a hand in my own murder, or the murder of my family, or my extended family, the people of America.

We continue to hear of moderate Islamists. The left trots them out and we are assured they are moderates and, well, are just like Christians and Jews. Well, I have to ask: are those “moderate” Muslims who insist on building a mosque at Ground Zero in New York? Think about that for a while.

How about the throngs of Muslims dancing in the streets and shouting for joy at the death of those Americans on September 11th, 2001? Were/are they “moderates,” too? Huh?

Look, if Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, or Roman Catholics had flown those airliners into the Twin Towers and killed 3,000 Americans, I’d feel the same way about them as I do about Muslims. Heck, I am still angry with the Japanese for Pearl Harbor!

To our leftist friends who have adopted the mantra “Can’t we all just get along?” I say this: No, we cannot all just get along. Not so long as Muslims continue to insist on forcing their brand of religion on the entire world and establishing Sharia law over the entire world, and continue to keep silent as the so-called Islamofacists among them kill and maim America civilians, and soldiers, the world over — in the name of Islam.

I don’t hold with burning books – any books – not even pornography. There is something akin to the sacred about the printed word that I revere. So, I cannot condone the burning of the Islamic holy book by the church in Florida. But, believe you me; I understand the anger behind it. I also understand the frustration Americans are feeling toward other Americans who somehow, think that kow towing to their local Islamic communities is the “tolerant” and “American” thing to do. By doing so, they are “submitting” just as the religion of Islam demands.

It is embarrassing to me as an American when a community voluntarily bows to Islam yet takes no thought at giving the Christian community or the Jewish community the back of it’s hand. I can explain it only one way. They are acting out of FEAR.

Then, there is this story at nbcconnecticut.com. How does one explain why these folks are embarrassing themselves in such a manner? Read the story entitled: “City Council Meetings to begin with Muslim Prayers” and decide for yourselves. You will find it (HERE).

Maybe it has something to do with my being southern, but I find it far easier to relate to the Quran-burning, by the church in Florida, than I do to that City council’s solicitation of Islamic prayers at their meetings.

Allow me to add my disappointment at General Petraeus’ comments concerning the Quran-burning. His remarks confirm my worst fears about the US Military. It has become politicized. At least the upper echelons of command seem to be nothing more than politician/soldiers. That is very, very, bad for our military.

I sincerely hope the next conservative Commander-in-Chief will purge the Pentagon from the Joint Chiefs of Staff all the way down to the colonels serving in the field.

The Chiefs of Staff should be fighting men. If that means reaching down into the colonelcy to promote fighting men to 4-star rank — then it should be – NO — it NEEDS to be done.

I would remind you, America did not win the war in Iraq. And I will predict — with no hesitation — America will not win the war in Afghanistan. We cannot win wars with politician/soldiers in command! We cannot win wars when these politician/soldiers are more interested in winning the enemy’s hearts and minds than in defeating, utterly, America’s enemies!

In my opinion, General Petraeus has clearly demonstrated why America will not win in Afghanistan. America is no longer in the “war-winning” business.

For those Americans who believe America can embrace Islam without being forced to totally submit to Islam and Sharia Law, allow me to disabuse you of that mistaken opinion. With Islam, there is no half way. When there is open warfare in the streets of America between Muslims and Americans of other religious persuasions, remember that we warned it would happen.

No matter what you think at the moment, America is headed for a bloody confrontation with Islam here on our shores, in our streets, in our communities. It is coming as surely as day follows night. The Ground Zero Mosque is only the opening skirmish.

Remember this, too: if America is to remain free, Islam must not be allowed a single victory.

Now that our radical, socialist, president has surrendered in the War on Terror, it will be left to individual Americans to preserve America’s liberties and freedom.

Yes, I do understand what a terrible thing this is — even to contemplate. But we need to understand that with the President/Commander-in-Chief America has now, we freedom loving Americans are on our own!

May God help us in the coming fight.

Obama Wants to Spend 50 Billion $$ More — Driving America Deeper in Debt.

What IS it with Democrats?  Common sense tells us that one cannot spend one’s self out of debt. Common sense also tells us the national pocketbook is not bottomless. Sooner or later we will run out of money.

The first rule of “Hole Digging” is:  When you find yourself in one – stop digging!

America, if you have ever been outraged at an administration which, it appears, is out to bankrupt America and collapse its entire economic and financial system, then by all that is good and kind, NOW is the time.

Look, Obama and his fellow socialist-liberal cohorts in the Congress have spent all your money, all your children’s money and all your grand children’s money, borrowed all the money they can get their hands on – and spent that—and have the treasury’s printing presses printing even more cash that will, eventually, bring this country the worst inflation America has ever seen.

Now Obama is calling it “Infrastructure investments!”  You want the REAL name for it?  Well, we’ll give it to you, anyway – “VOTE BUYING!”

Look, this whole new scam (called infrastructure investments) by Obama and the liberal-socialists is just a desperate attempt to create a few jobs before the election November 2^nd.  That is ALL this is. 

You can bet when Republicans vote against these ”spending” bills they will be mocked by the democrats as ”anti-job Bushites,” or some such elementary school epithet.

It is so transparent that it is pathetic!  Even some of Obama’s own liberal-socialist comrades in the Congress are so embarrassed that it is such a clumsy move, and one so easily identified as a scam, that they are running from it – and Obama.

Oh, and lest we forget, or over look it, the experts in Washington are referring to this 50 billion as the “Initial” investment.

The plain truth is we will never get the job market started again until the crazies in the Congress and the West Wing, stop their BS and get serious about bringing some stability to America’s financial and economic system. 

You have, no doubt, heard that American business is sitting on a pot of money and that profits are high for business currently.  That is true.  Like a turtle, business has pulled its head and limbs inside the shell until conditions are favorable again. 

With an obviously anti-business government in Washington businesses, large or small, are not about to risk their companies by doing anything other than protecting what they have RIGHT NOW.  And guess what?  They will continue to squat in a protective posture until Washington brings stability back to America’s financial and economic system.

You want to see jobs created?  If so, get rid of the liberal-socialists and progressives, in the US government.   In fact, get rid of the anti-business government with which America is currently saddled and yoked. That means cleaning out the Congress and the White House in a good old-fashioned political purge at the polls this November and again in November of 2012.

Obama’s brain trust in the White House are aware of the electorate’s still simmering anger over the 814 billion dollar (so-called) stimulus plan and the sky-rocketing deficits.  As a result they are falling back on the tried and true method — Incrementalism.  They will push for many smaller stimulus plans instead of one huge plan as before.  This 50 billion dollar “infrastructure investment” is just ONE of MANY small plans they intend to push in the next few weeks and months.

It is just the tip of the iceberg.

Once again, to the barricades!  We must stop this continual hemorrhaging of cash from the American pocketbook.  We need to let our Congresspersons and Senators know that we want it stopped — post haste.

What America needs now is fundamental change in the personnel in the Congress and in the White House. We can insure that change begins on November 2^nd.

Today is Labor Day in the US. Labor Day is a celebration of Labor Unions. I don‘t support labor unions; therefore, I do not celebrate Labor Day.

“Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union.

The form that the observance and celebration of Labor Day should take were outlined in the first proposal of the holiday — a street parade to exhibit to the public “the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations” of the community, followed by a festival for the recreation and amusement of the workers and their families. This became the pattern for the celebrations of Labor Day. The original intent of the Labor Day holiday has been largely lost in the drive to revise and sanitize American history.

Labor Unions have been referred to as the “shock troops of socialism.” (SOURCE)

Today most American families will celebrate with picnics cookouts, etc, completely oblivious to the fact that they are celebrating the labor unions in America.

I cannot do that.

My uncle, a lawyer, and high up in one of America’s largest and most powerful labor unions, would get down on the ground and look under his car, then raise the hood and look carefully — every morning — before he would ever get in the car and start it up. He was looking for bombs. I don’t know, to this day, exactly how important his job in the union was, but at his death, of natural causes, the US Secretary of Labor was in attendance at his funeral.

So, enjoy your family outing today. Just be aware of what Labor Day is actually about.
